Community Involvement Committee

The goal of the committee is to build and expand relationships between the Chamber members and the community at large. The committee sponsors a monthly column in a local newspaper(s) to highlight local Chamber businesses, discuss community-Chamber related topics, and to help grow the relationships between Chamber members and the community. The committee is dedicated to nurture the relationship between the local school district, the community and the Chamber. In addition, the committee hopes to create Business and Chamber involvement in the community and promote economic growth through the implementation of job focused workshops and job fair, and work to promote employment opportunities for those with disabilities.
