Business Person of the Year.
The Business and Economic Development Committee has selected one or more business person(s) for this honor each year since 1995. Several of our recipients include Steve Rose, CEO of Nanticoke Health Services, Rob Harman, Alliance Real Estate Professionals and Rob Rider, O.A Newton and Body & Soul Fitness and Amy Higgins of Sussex Printing/The Guide. Our 2023 Business Person of the Year is Joan Neal of Regional Builders.
Community Service Award
The Community Involvement Committee selects the recipient of this award in recognition of their long-standing community service that has made an impact in the community and with our local residents. Our 2023 recipient is the Good Ole Boys Foundation.
Blazing New Trails Award
The Business Economic & Development Forum Committee chooses a business who has exemplified pioneering and expansion of services throughout Western Sussex County. The 2021 the recipient is Matt Musial of Proximity Malt.
